SHIFT, an October exhibition at NKollectiv Gallery @nkollectiv . 60 works from 41 different Colorado artists. Thank you to Juror - art consultant and curator Liz Graham of Liz Graham Art Consultants @lizgrahamartconsulting for including two of my toned cyanotypes with embroidery. 🧵

A uniquely varied collection of work. Each artist interpreting the theme – movement of the natural world, evolution of identity, energy of social or political engagement, or the internal moments when something realigns. Show includes painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.

My friend and talented artist @sarah.l.ashford had a piece included in a show at an art opening at @nkollectiv gallery, and in celebration of her accomplishment I dressed for the occasion.

I wore the black vintage fringed dress that I chose for my previous post to reinforce the concept that repeating pieces is a sustainable action. The vintage headpiece trimmed with a single flower was discovered at an estate sale in the 1970s. The felted floral and mesh cape was gifted by artisan @andrea_lebeau_designs. Vintage black pumps, vintage clutch, and red vintage earrings are estate sale finds.

Tonight’s opening reception of the “SHIFT” show at NKollectiv.

My mosaic “Follow me…” didn’t win any awards, but I got to see several of my students, which was such a wonderful surprise and honestly felt better than winning any prize! ❤️

This is probably one of the best shows I’ve participated in, so it’s definitely worth stopping by! The exhibition is open through November 1.

“Follow me...,” my tempered glass mosaic inspired by my passion for scuba diving, has been selected for the “SHIFT” juried exhibition at NKollectiv Art Gallery in Englewood, Colorado.

The exhibition is open to the public from October 1 through November 1, 2026, at 3485 S Broadway, Englewood, CO.

The opening reception will be held on
Saturday, October 10 from 4–8 PM.

We are excited to announce the Art of the Magazine exhibition at NKollectiv Gallery @nkollectiv starting next Saturday, Oct. 10, at 3pm. Denverse commissions original works of art for all of its magazine covers, and we’re excited to take you behind the scenes and show you how the process works. We’ll also be providing limited edition prints for sale, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit Art from Ashes @afaphoenix.

Meet our editor and learn about magazine art on Oct. 10. We’ll also be holding an artist reception on Oct. 17 from 4-6pm where you’ll be able to meet the actual artists behind these incredible pieces. We’ll also be providing a special giveaway for our subscribers on Oct. 17, a $150 gift card to Uchi @uchirestaurants, which we originally won in a raffle benefiting the wonderful folks at @southbroadwaypress.
