This is what we are trying to bring back to the black community. Comraderie and a general sense of friendliness towards each other. The past has broken our communities for the most part but it wasn't always the way it is now. Back in the early 1900s black community was strong and burgeoning. Commerce, family and employment in our areas were plentiful and meaningful. That was destroyed during the Jim Crowe era. But we can build it back faster and better than ever. Is it going to happen anytime soon??? I wish I could say yes but the truth is absolutely not. But we need to start!
