2025 is DONE. I am closing next Thursday 18th and won’t be back until January 15th. I need a break and I am taking it. If you need anything from me let me know ASAP. I’m aiming to have every order shipped before Thursday. All orders placed from Wednesday 17th will be shipped upon my return Mid January.

This year I turned 50. Had health issues and still managed to have 25 releases out.

Last year, around this time, I wrote about how hard it was to have any sort of self promotion amidst the world situation. I can extend the same feeling to 2025, with the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and with close friends behind bars, the last thing on my mind has been to punish you with label crap every other day. With the current media blackout about what is happening in British prisons I could not let this space go without mentioning the current wave of Hunger Strikes, which are being silenced by the media but are happening as I type this. Please check @freethefilton24 and @da3m.support for info and consider donating to them, or buying the solidarity T-Shirt

As is only right, I need to thank every band on the label for trusting me again with their music. Every distributor, promoter, designer, recording engineer and shit-worker for their help. Also to every single person who has spent their time and/or money supporting the label. I know how much music is out there, and how hard things are at the moment, so you deciding to give us a chance is extremely humbling. We are nothing without you.

But not everything is gonna be great. I need to, much like every year, apologise to anyone whose email got unanswered or felt wronged by me. I can only apologise. My days have only 24 hours, and there is only so much I can do on my own. This year highlighted many issues in the way I operate, and made me reconsider what the ceiling is operating as DIY. I have decided to hire someone part time next year, to help me with the daily workload. I’m hoping this will free some time for me, which hopefully will benefit both my health and the better functioning of the label. More on that later.

Wishing most of you the best for the rest of the year.
