#waybackwednesday to the 1995 Major Indoor Lacrosse League Championship game at the Philadelphia Spectrum.

The crease dive was something I had never faced in Canadian Box Lacrosse, needless to say… it took a little bit of an adjustment to figure it out. After having my knee compromised (cartilage tear) from a crease dive in Baltimore, I decided to use the opportunity to flatten anyone diving directly at me. In today’s game I see lotsa guys with serious hang-time right in the goalie’s face, makes me wanna get off my sofa and run through their legs 😉

How to play the crease dive is something that will be discussed at length at the NEXT Goalie Academy at the SOUTHEAST Regional in Fort Lauderdale FLORIDA.
We are capping Registration this year, so sign-up early if it’s on your radar.

Here is the template for a potential ad that the National Lacrosse League could run. What do you think? 🤩

Deacan Knott reflected on the benefits of living in market. The Wings goalie is in South Philly 😎

Flashback to the “Track-Meet” days of pro box.
Running 3 lines with no O/D facilitates non-stop end-to-end action. For a goalie, there was no hiding behind a wall of defensemen (except for TO) More flow, fewer whistles, more fun to watch.
Here a few clips from our St.Paddy’s Day game against the New York Saints.
1) playing a 2 v 1
2) low glove reaction on a horizontal cut
3) be discreet when falling on the attacker

Today we release our first NLL Mock Draft. This is not a ranking, but more a mock based on fit and opportunity. With the uncertainty surrounding two NLL franchises, we understand things could change. We will get out a Mock Draft 2.0 and likely 3.0 as well as a full Mock draft covering each round!

Could LeBron James’ presence in Philadelphia over the next 2 years with the 76ers ever influence a local owner to buy the Wings?
