It is with profound admiration and heartfelt felicitation that I extend my warmest congratulations to Shri Suvendu Adhikari Ji on being unanimously elected as the Leader of the House and for assuming the august responsibility of serving as the next Chief Minister of West Bengal.

His remarkable political odyssey — forged through resilience, indefatigable commitment, organisational acumen and an unwavering conviction towards democratic ideals — stands today vindicated by the emphatic faith reposed in him by his colleagues and the people alike.

I had the rare privilege of working alongside Shri Suvendu Adhakari Ji in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly during his tenure as the Leader of the Opposition. From close quarters, I witnessed a parliamentarian of exceptional sharpness, formidable articulation, and relentless dedication towards the cause of constitutional democracy and public accountability. His interventions inside the House were never merely political performances, but deeply informed deliberations marked by courage, clarity and conviction.

In an era where public life increasingly demands both administrative competence and moral fortitude, Shri Suvendu Adhikari Ji embodies the qualities of a decisive and resolute leader. His ascension to the highest executive office of the State is not merely a political transition, but a defining moment in the democratic evolution of West Bengal.

May his tenure usher in an era of stability, development, institutional integrity and renewed hope for the people of Bengal.

My sincere congratulations and best wishes to him for this historic responsibility.
