Today we had three Somali Grandmothers teach 14 eager students how to finger weave. Everyone joined the circle and tried to master the technique. We all muddled through communication and everyone seemed to get their point across. Thanks to the grandmothers, Sabrina who did a fabulous job as translator and driver and all the students. Remarkable time. They will have to come back! #somalifingerweaving #somaligrandmothers. #marinemillsfolkschoolclasses
