I started working out during covid to literally burn as many calories as possible, mostly focused on cardio and was busy with my high school sports. The year after covid I got a gym membership and my whole mindset completely changed and I was able to develop a healthy relationship with the gym and began working out for my physical and mental growth rather than just appearance. Once I started to see changes in the way I felt, I immediately fell in love with the process. Since that moment, I realized how important it is to listen to your body and stay consistent with your routine to reach your goals.

To stay motivated and move forward with the process, I like to remember that good things take time, hard work, and consistency to get to the point you’re trying to reach. Motivation does not always come easy, so it’s important to focus on your end goal and to continue pushing yourself every day!
My favorite day to hit in the gym is definitely back and biceps (there’s nothing better than a back pump) and my favorite workout is either lat pullovers or kneeling lat pull downs!
My biggest tip for anyone who’s beginning their workout journey is to trust the process and believe in yourself! I would have never thought two years ago that I would be where I am today and I’m happy I get to share my experience with like-minded people who share similar goals!
