blah blah blah...I love art

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tonight’s photo is very “circa 2009-2014 art school Lexi” who used to wear purple textile pants. Now I’m just a vegan plant lady, still doing art stuff, but had to think about what years I even studied. Who needs a Graphic Design & Advertising degree anyway (it’s actually v relevant to photography but that’s another pointless story) ~
Do you know the best thing that came outta “art school”? Besides visual art knowledge, learning design programs, working in Design/Marketing and meeting artists that made me feel less weird (and made me realise why I never fit in at high school - cos I belong with these people)? I met my favourite bestie man there 😊 💖 😘

Turns out there’s an underground jetty system at the Freo Ports and this loon got me down there (via a massive ladder that plunges into deep, dark ocean water - my biggest fear). •
Max to me - “live on the edge”!! 😳 •
My main concern was my camera so I got him to carry it first 😂 Trusting you with my $2k camera gear means trusting you with my life.
On the second step I was like, “I can’t do it, I can’t do it! I don’t like heights or pitch black water”. Meanwhile, he was telling me there are probably sharks there, but he was encouraging and we made it 😆
We were gifted with many wafts of dead fish but still had awesome lights, good chats and memories 💛
