TOKENS set BTS II - How magical to be able to do our first feature film together!! *Beyond* magical.

Rumi did - incredibly well - acting as a lead character. Blew us all away, had us all in tears. 🥹 I was costume designer / head of wardrobe department, a job I’m used to by now — but this was my first time at this scale and I think I did pretty alright. ☺️

The entire cast and crew were angelic to work with. Every single one you could be trapped on an island with and have the best time of your life. Shooting is kind of like that. Or a pirate ship. You see each other for weeks and weeks on end. Low points, high points, tears and laughs. Scavenging for food (amongst plentiful crafty). Everyone doing their job to their highest ability to keep the ship on course. To reach the finish line together. If you give up on yourself you give up on each other, so you don’t. You push through and roll with the inevitable boulders. It truly is a fantastic feeling to do and complete. Okay, enough sentimental metaphors. 🤍

I can finally release the poster for my short film:

FIESTA NO MAS

Despite this taking me way longer than I ever anticipated to get this across the finish line, I am SO PROUD that I did. There are so many people that helped me bring my vision to life and I literally could not have done this without any of them. Now let’s get this thing into some festivals and PARTY!!
