Officially a Hall of Famer in the Northern Michigan University Sports Hall of Fame for Track and Field!

In 2015, I decided to join the team a couple months before the semester started, not really thinking about where running would take me. I mostly ran the 400 and 4x4, then started focusing more on the 800m during my 3rd year.

By the end of my career, I earned 3 All-American honors in the 800m (finishing among the top runners in the country), broken some school records (6 still remain), and received a handful of other athletic and academic honors.

These days, I give back what running gave me by coaching youth T&F & XC through Running Medicine, an Indigenous-led organization.

I’m incredibly honored for the nomination and for the votes and committee who selected me. I’m also honored to share this induction with so many incredible athletes and coaches.

Thank you to everyone who impacted my life growing up. You are all a part of this moment. Miigwech! ❤️

A big THANK YOU to everyone that supported The 2026 Tracy Trot this year! Once again we had people trotting all over the globe. The in-person location in Menominee, MI was cancelled due to terrible air quality, but pivoted to a mass group breakfast turned day drinking turned supper and night drinks… so many laughs and memories were shared. We had virtual trotters ranging from family and friends, to NMU teammates and coaches, to former co-workers of Tracy, to our regular loyal Trot followers. Our 3rd annual London: UK Edition, hosted by our dear friend Lucy Mathews, gathered a group of trotters, including Greg, Henry and Sophie, to take on their own 5K trot and gathering at Tracy’s memorial bench, followed by more friendship and joy at the pub. Year 4 is officially in the books. We look forward to seeing you all again next year! Continue to live like Tracy - choose happiness and spread joy!! #thetracytrot

I am thrilled to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career running at Northern Michigan University!

I want to thank my family, teammates, and coaches for their encouragement and support throughout this journey. Your belief in me has helped make this opportunity possible.

A special thank you to the NMU Women’s Cross Country and Track team for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to run for the Wildcats. I am excited to see where this next chapter takes me! 💚💛
