‚Girl, you better do this!‘ by Nataliya Nikolska
Full version available on SoundCloud (link in bio)

Please listen with headphones for the full dimensional experience and swipe to the next picture to go on with the Audio.

This sound walk is about a woman who is either on her way to an interview or exam, but may just be going to work. Meanwhile, she hears voices in her head reflecting on her past. It's not clear whether she hears the voices in her head or whether real people are talking to her.

A total of five main characters can be identified:
1) A person with a male voice who gives advice to the woman and tries to calm her down;
2) A female who from time to time complains or is happy about pain and fatigue;
3) Two female voices with the same function - the voice owners question every decision and make reproaches;
4) A ballet teacher who humiliates her as often as possible;
5) A male character who sometimes imitates the other speakers and could be mistaken for the people on the street.

The voices and noises were recorded by me or by the protagonists. The piano in the background is an old recording from my ballet class.
