⛰️ At 16.00, two of our visiting artists, Sari Szanto and Paburik (currently exhibiting their work at :DDD Kunst House and Garage Ara respectively) will show examples of their visual storytelling, and then engage in a broader discussion with Arpi Balyan from Yerevan’s Fem Library about their experiences working in Queer Zines Scenes in Russia, Hungary and Armenia.

⛰️ At 17.30, Christopher Rainbow will present the Risograph comics press Sputnikat, and with fellow artists Rafael Zaiats, Sasha Deyeva and Sari Szanto, will perform a live reading of Neptune’s Palace, their 2026 comics jam, a collaborative storytelling project between 32 cartoonists. The art for Neptune’s Palace can also be enjoyed in our exhibition in the empty swimming pool at Letters And Numbers.

5–20 July, bjij hosts a new project by @shit.museum — an archive of grand dramas and minor misfortunes experienced by its members🤧

The artists believe that a branch of the Museum of Pain exists within each of us. Come explore your own internal archive, guided by the artists’ diaries, journals, documentation, confessions, and intrusive thoughts.

💔Pain donors: Maria Zakaryan, Mary Hovsepyan, Arevik Aroyan, Serge Manouguian, Ruben Khachatryan, Shamiram, Carine Aroyan, Mary Badalian, Lena Nersesyan, Alex Khalatian, Ilya Rodin, Tigran Minas.
