aging out is something i’ve been having to come to terms with as it seems my time marching has just started. i’m so happy to have come across all the amazing people & educators in my marching career and learn their lessons not only with drumming but with life. i’ll forever cherish all these places and memories & am grateful for all that this activity has brought to my life.
special thanks to @j_martzz for letting us stay at his mom’s house and teaching me to break the wrist.

Spent just under a week galavanting around SoCal so that I could be a part of Bass Camp, one of the coolest things to ever exist for the bass drumming community.

Got to see and do a lot of cool things, but I’m particularly grateful to have gotten to see and work alongside these 5 former students. They’re some of the absolute best in the world at what they do, and getting to see them be such enthusiastic and gifted teachers was a really fulfilling thing to be a part of.

Here’s to more time in beautiful places with wonderful people.

Also, those 5 would be a CRAZY bassline.
