Grateful for my time in the Million Dollar Band and drumline.
My career ended a year ago, but I never posted about my time with this organization.

The second picture is from my first rehearsal back in August 21’. Since then, I was blessed to play and develop as a snare drummer with some of my closest friends, playing in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a National Championship, the Sugar Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, the Rose Bowl, Disneyland, the Reliaquest Bowl, and all over the SEC. Still, I miss the regular afternoon rehearsals and late-night sectionals the most

I’m beyond thankful for these people and this opportunity, and I am so grateful for my parents, teachers, and mentors who got me to this level. The 10 years, 2 indoor groups, continuous mentorship, leadership opportunities, and memories could not have been possible without them

After 8 long years, the time has finally come for the farewell post…🥲

First of all, I want to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for always guiding me throughout this perfect journey. It was truly the adventure of a lifetime.

I would also like to give a shoutout to THE Jamie and Adam Wilson. Without their RELENTLESS support, I would have never been able to chase this dream.

These past 8 years has been the most perfect blur of happiness that I have ever experienced. As a kid who grew up wanting to play football for the crimson tide, it’s funny how fate had me not far off that path.

If you would have told me in 2018 when I quit football, that 8 years later this would be what I had accomplished, I would have been stunned.

1 natty appearance, 1 Macys parade, 2 rose bowls, 3 playoff berths, 1 sugar bowl, 3 INCREDIBLE thrillers at JHS, 1 BOA trip, 7 bowl appearances, and so much more.

Although I am way past ready to hang up the sticks and be done, it’s the people and the family I’ll miss the most. Anyone I ever marched with knew just how much the people meant to me.

This activity gave me everything. It even helped me ask the girl of my dreams to be my wife.

To the MDB, I owe you it all. The past 5 years have taught me so much and I am so grateful to have played a part.

To all those that I marched with, I hope I impacted your lives positively to at least HALF of the amount you all impacted me. You helped me find myself and learn to be Cade. I am always here for you all if you ever need me.

I know that the trajectory of this organization is only going to keep soaring, and I am so ready to witness it.

One last thing though.

To Cameron, I hope I’ve inspired you to really find yourself and to really become who you were always meant to be. You are already making Dad, Mom, and I so proud, and I can’t wait to cheer you on as you forge your own path. I’m so proud of you bud, and I’ll always have your back. Go chase the world man.🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

That’s a wrap on my four years in the Million Dollar Band. Grateful to have been on the drumline, serve as a section leader, and most importantly be apart of a great group of people. Not a fairytale ending, but I am happy and grateful all the same. Albreezy out ❤️
