I’m blessed and, as always, grateful to God for my life. 🙌🏾 My attitude of gratitude was amplified when I made it to Delta Land! 🔺🐘 Becoming a Soror of Delta Sigma Theta was a dream deferred but NOT denied. And I would not be here without the love and support of my village. Thank you for keeping me humble yet confident, modest though courageous, and a learner while a leader. Love y’all! 😘😊😍 Meet my SQUAD! 👏🏾✊🏾💪🏾

Happy 30th Birthday, bestfriend!!! 🎂 #30
@nocoolname
I’m so lucky to have found my bestfriend in the whole wide world when I was 4 and still be able to call her bestfriend at 30! Oh...and my best friend is better than yours! 😝

For 12 years, we shared an education. We walked to school together(until we could drive to school together) and shared lockers, gym uniforms, books and whatever else would help us get through the school day seamlessly. For 4 years, we lived the African-American dream(@ Spelman and Howard), separately but together. We talked all the time, visited each other often, and would proudly tell the world “my bestfriend goes to the other top HBCU in the country.” And of course we had the Spelman Howard debate bc someone could never accept that Spelman will always be #1. 💙💁🏾‍♀️ Then we graduated and had to live up to the African American dream. For 7 years, I lived in Chicago and Co lived all over the world. Both of us were after a life we loved and I truly think we’ve created it. And the best part is that now we get to live it together, again...in Chicago...🗣 WHERE WE LIVE!

Love you bestfriend! And love doing life with you! Always have, always will! 👯‍♀️ #COCO30

Happy DIRTY 30 to my bestie& my twin!! You are such an amazing woman and friend. We’ve been through the ups and the downs and no matter what I know I can always count on you to shoot me straight, and for that I will always b thankful. We’ve only had 2 fights in over 10 years and I’m glad the cake fight was captured for the world to see... u didn’t need that cake anyway... we got a lot to go around 😈☺️😝🎂

“Diversity and inclusion is about valuing every employee and encouraging intellectual risk taking.”
- Jessica Kimball (’15), left, head of global diversity and inclusion at @mattel.

.
The Embracing Diversity Conference demonstrates Anderson’s commitment to increasing diversity in its programs and provides business school applicants invaluable insight into what diversity means in today’s corporate world.
.
The event focused on the role of diversity in business school and the corporate world, not only as socially important, but as a factor that leads to greater efficiency. Industry leaders were invited to address prospective students, and, without exception, they advocated for every business to seek a diverse pool of candidates in the hiring process.
