Generational Love

Hasna and Ryan kept giving themselves away, a shoulder leaning in, a collar fixed with a care no collar has ever needed, their bodies doing what bodies do before pride gets involved. Nobody in the room minded that the two of them wanted each other; the discomfort was that the wanting kept showing on their faces and in their hands.

“Draped in Noise”

🇬🇧 Israel Yanir is a music artist and designer who doesn’t choose between sound and fashion he lets them coexist. For him, expression isn’t a moment. It’s a way of moving through the world. Under the name Sonic Strika, his album Noise carries that same authentic sentiment. Almost exclusively wearing his own designs through Hubane, Israel Yanir blurs the line between sound and form, building a world where both speak the same language.

🇫🇷 Israel Yanir est un artiste musical et designer qui ne choisit pas entre le son et la mode il les laisse coexister.
Pour lui, l’expression n’est pas un moment, mais une manière de traverser le monde. Sous le nom Sonic Strika, son album Noise porte ce même sentiment d’authenticité. Portant presque exclusivement ses propres créations à travers Hubane, Israel Yanir brouille les frontières entre le son et la forme, construisant un univers où les deux parlent le même langage.

What a pleasure, honour and revelation it was being amongst amazing humans in Paris presenting The Black Market and The Black Supermarket which have been realised in Ivory Coast, Abidjan. Nothing but inspired by the Art infused with a legacy voice they speak so gracefully and direct.

Thank you for @colorsxstudios for inviting me over to the your Paris Community Activation. Felt inspired and fully enjoyed my time even got to learn a little about Paris and the french speaking Diaspora.
