A full summer recap, in no particular order 🐒🏰🛳️🌺✨

This summer has been an adventure. It’s been a practice in choosing joy despite carrying grief and a whole rollercoaster of emotions every month. I’m grateful for the magic and fun that we’ve had with friends and family this whole summer, it’s what’s carried me through on the best and worst days.

Here’s to making more memories and magic through the rest of the year.

Nine years ago today, I landed home from one of the most spiritual experiences of my life! Serving the incredible people of the Mississippi Jackson Mission.

Mississippi will always hold a special place in my heart. At the time, I had no idea just how much those two years would shape me or how deeply they would change my life.

Every person I met left an impact on me. Their faith, kindness, and examples helped me draw closer to Jesus Christ and become a better person. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity I had to serve and for the lifelong lessons and friendships that came from it.

It’s crazy how fast time flies. Looking back, my mission remains one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I’ll always be thankful for the people of Mississippi and for the chance to serve the Lord.

Happy Late Birthday to my Lover Boy💙 I’ve never been more grateful to have Noa by my side, through the good and the bad.

January was simultaneously such an amazing month while also being one of the most difficult, emotional months of my life.

Noa and I found out we were pregnant at the beginning of December. We were so excited as we told friends and family who have supported us through our already difficult journey of trying to start our family and enjoyed getting to celebrate with them.

The holiday season was great until a few short weeks later we found out we had miscarried.

January has been a month of grieving and trying to figure out how to go back to “normal,” while also trying to be optimistic and move forward together. We have had the best people surround us with love and support, and could not have made it through without them.

We celebrated Noa’s birthday amidst all of the chaos and sadness. The happy times celebrating and time with our friends and family have brought me lot of hope.

I’m grateful for a testimony of my Savior, and His redeeming sacrifice that means I’ll get to be with Noa and my babies someday. I’m also grateful for friends and family who have experienced what I have, and have lifted me up through shared experiences, love, and support. And I’m grateful to have had Noa by my side through all of it.

If you’re also in the trenches of infertility, or your own trials, I see you. You’re not alone, and I’m here to chat if you need it.
