I love developing recipes and demoing those recipes in the studio kitchen, but my favorite videos are when I don’t have a script and just get to play. We went with a different format this time. The challenge here was to throw a dinner party for $100, which we all know is plenty. I wanted to show people a different side of me, the way I cook at home for the people I love. From the flowers to the table setting, and the way I pick produce and like to end the night. This was also the NYT Cooking debut of my home kitchen in Brooklyn. (Plus cameos from @kendrakendrakendra, @theshahreport and Paolo 😍)

Thank you to the @nytcooking team for sharing our story and thank you to everyone who got us to this point - my team, our hosting bars and venues, the friends offering their hands or resources for the hell of it, our friggin dope customers who come and vibe and hang. I’m getting quite sentimental about it all but you’re all just truly life changing - all of you. Thank you.

Emmy winner 🏅 “Inside One of Brooklyn’s Oldest Sandwich Shops”

A food documentary that centers around an old-school shop serving New Yorkers since the 1920s. As a normal day of service unfolds, we follow the owner, Larry Demonte, and the story behind his latest creation: the “Chenzo 13” — a sandwich dedicated to his late son Vincent.

Thank you to the Defonte’s family who while in the midst of grief found a way to celebrate Vinny.
