New slang: chunc (chopped unc)

I can’t believe this was my last year in Impact, and naturally, there’s a lot of emotions that have come with that. I’m so glad I got to be a prayer teamer this year. I think my favorite thing was getting to be a silent leader that gets to step back and watch the Lord move through these co chairs and counselors. I knew from the moment I met this quad that they were hungry and ready to serve even when it requires more than what was asked. I knew when I met these counselors that this group would be so much fun to be around. And I knew when I heard these guys share their testimony after first staff retreat that each of their stories would be used to minister so well to incoming students at retreat. I got to watch everyone grow closer to the Lord and to each other during the semester and then watch them love their students SO well. And then all of my impact experience came to a close holding the chain of answered prayers. Sam and I realized that when we prayed over the class of 2031… that was our siblings. It was very emotional thinking about how incredible my time in impact was and how much the Lord has changed my life since I became a counselor my freshman year. Then we got to ask that God would do the same thing for our siblings and that their experience in college would be tenfold ours!

So incredibly thankful for this ministry and the ways God has used it to radically change my life!
