For his first solo headline show, @savejlife is about to transform @cervantesmasterpiece into a spaceship, transporting us to a space out of time with the ancient technology of frequencies.

Not only that, but we’ve got @lilyfangz on direct support, @morillomusic bringing his diverse vibes that always make me wanna groove, and I am honored to be opening the portal of what is surely to be a legendary night. The cherry on top, my hubby @lukebrownart will be live painting on stage, and he’s crafting something extra(terrestrial) special for this one.

Big gratitude to @savejmusic for lifting me up, and creating more space for the feminine to flourish on the line-ups. 💕

Burning Man is all of it. It’s what you make of it, and what it makes of you. A temporary city built by its participants, it is a reflection of the people who build it (and unfortunately now too, those who consume it)
Gatherings like this, they have a soul of their own. And just as much as they reflect light and inspiration, they also reflect back the unhealed parts of ourselves. But something about the playa makes the lessons so obvious. Like the universe has trolled us so many times it’s impossible to ignore.
And 100% of the time it’s magical. Even the hard times - they lead us to the edge of our capacity and illuminate the discrepancy between expectation and reality.
But it’s up to us what we do with it. And in a city of infinite possibilities, that can be an overwhelming gift of choice.
So, TLDR:
• Next year was better
• The simulation is broken
• We all love a little type 2 fun

Back from the dust and so proud of @spencerblamo, @shaynebear and what the team brought to life out there. ✨❤️

After more than two years of dreaming, carving, and problem-solving, Behind Closed Eyes by @spencerblamo made it all the way from Bali to Black Rock City! Spencer worked SO hard on this, so seeing it standing on the playa, filled with people, performance and quiet moments of connection was so special.

The 16-foot hollow sculpture was created and hand carved by Spencer Hansen alongside an incredible team of Javanese and Balinese master artisans, the material is constructed from more than 95% repurposed materials — primarily reclaimed teak wood from old Indonesian fishing boats! The piece was solely illuminated by solar power thanks to @solarpunks.club and @photonicbliss.

Behind Closed Eyes is about perception, presence and play. Its exterior is layered with repeating topographic ridges, all carved by hand and climbable, while the hollow interior becomes a quiet sanctuary.

Burningman is filled with so much stimulation and wild weather- watching people climb inside the sculpture and sit quietly felt like the piece becoming exactly what it was meant to be. @selkiehom had the most dreamy performance dancing to @rhye, @humanexperiencecreations @and tokimonsta’s music over the sculpture — swipe the videos to watch. 😍😍

This was years of extremely hard work, both physical and mental, but you did it and what a success it was. So proud of you @spencerblamo @shaynebear and @reubenparkersadowsky and the whole team! ❤️ Congratulations!!

I was delighted to receive the invitation to serve up the sauce at @hipointsfest festival today ! I’m playing from 3:00 - 4:30 pm on the main stage, gonna warm it up proper for my gurl @lilyfangz . I’ve been digging up some extra delicious tunes for this one, lemme kno in the comments if you’ll be making it out today!

If you don’t kno what @sound.ground is up to, they are beacons of culture in the music scene here and I have mad respect for their dedication to sharing a variety of vibes from all over the world! So much amazing music happening from day to night, hope to see y’all out there.

From the shores of Indonesia to the dust of Black Rock City, Behind Closed Eyes by Spencer Hansen made the incredible journey to #BurningMan2026!

Crouched in the dust with its hands covering its face, this 16-foot sculpture feels otherworldly and slightly unsettling, inviting viewers into a space of quiet, presence, and introspection. Behind Closed Eyes is hand-carved from reclaimed Indonesian teak salvaged from retired fishing vessels, and the sculpture carries the history of its materials into a new life.

Created over 18 months with Hansen’s longtime team of Indonesian artists, the piece combines time-honored craftsmanship with innovative fabrication processes. With over 95% repurposed materials, Behind Closed Eyes transforms reclaimed wood into a tactile, glowing sanctuary in the desert.

We’re proud to have helped bring this incredible work to life as an official Black Rock City 2026 Honorarium Grant recipient!

First official time capsule of burn 2025 for the gram! 🔥My 5th burn to date after my first year in 2012. Reflecting on all the different versions of who I’ve been throughout those years is quite a trip! She finds more of who she is every single time. 💃💥

This was my 2nd solo burn, 2023 being my first. Still camped alongside pals& with a camp, but arrived there fully self reliant no partner or friend in tow to share it all with. Juts me, myself, my direction & my flowww. (@s2diotone didd give me a ride that year but still) 😜

I came home the most rested & rejuvenated I ever have. I had the most amount of sleep, littlest amount of activating curriculars & it was also my first year where I saw every sunrise and every sunset out on playa. 😱🌅 I timed that shit without even meaning to and it was just one of those significant gifts that the playa offered to me. 🤲🏽

I love that this is an actual waking dream I get to live with a bunch a wild like-minded alternative freak and art-loving-folk. Hellla gratitude. <3

This place.
The people.
The land that holds it.
The coolest playground for all diff types.

The hype is frkn real.
It’s amazing.
It’s life altering.
For better or for worst.
Maybe don’t go.
Cuz it might just suck that bad.
