This is what 2 years vs 10 years of training looks like.

Yes I’m stronger and heavier but physical attributes don’t matter much when there’s a huge skill discrepancy. Think Keanu Reeves at the beginning of Matrix versus Neo fighting agents at the end with one hand.

Lots of people think just because they lift weights they can fight. Go to any fight gym (jiujitsu, judo, muay thai, boxing etc…) and there’s gonna be a skinny 16 year old that can beat your ass.

In my short two years of training, I’ve learned the more you can train with people who beat your ass, the better you become. Lots of people shy away from the hard rounds. Cause it’s embarrassing just like me here 🤣. But that’s what gets you better faster. The good thing at @hybridjiujitsu is that all the rounds are hard and everyone supports, loves, and finds so much enjoyment in seeing me get my ass beat. Ossss.

People always compliment how structured and organized the gym is and there might be reasons 👀

😂😂😂

All jokes aside… even I am a spaz once in a while & heel faces trying to finish an arm bar 😢 I apologized and he forgave me 🫶🏽

This has been my go to takedown in Jiujitsu since I started over a decade ago!

Most people don’t know that I started my martial arts journey with wrestling in high school! I am a also college All American & fought MMA for over a decade. The thing is, the last few years I haven’t been wrestling as much due to nagging injuries. I wrestled a lot more this camp and made sure that I wrestled well when it mattered(over time).

This is one of my favorite takedowns! It has always been effective in competition because they’re not expecting to go backwards. Try it and tell me what you think!
