After 6 years of this sport, I can’t believe it’s officially come to an end. When I decided to join cross country for fun in 6th grade, I never thought I would fall in love with it so much.

Cross country taught me that growth isn’t linear. It taught me the importance of perseverance and believing in myself. I only had a breakthrough season this year because I never gave up on myself even when things got hard.

Although this isn’t a goodbye to running, this is a goodbye to my cross country career. Thank you silver creek cross country for everything you’ve taught me, I’ll never forget the memories I made here.
