It was Women Conference Day and after all the set up was ready the check in began! Ladies lined up outside by the CARSON sign and staff had a last minute recap meeting to prepare them! (Did you see the green room? I had to steal me a few Macaroons!! 🤣😂 We opened the doors and the ladies started with the vendor fair in the atrium! Coworker Aundrea “Peach” Rockhold managed all these vendors!! Then ladies had breakfast and guest speakers in the main hall, I did the warm up MC and my other buddy C Pele was the speakers timekeeper! She tried hard to get their attention too 😂🤣 Then we transformed the main hall while the ladies went to their workshop classes or took advantage of the free health screenings!! Special Note all Doctors that were speakers donated their time for this event!! Staff were tired but we kept on trucking!!! Then the lunch room became a beautiful room just for well deserved ladies!! I had a chance to invite some of our Poly ladies and it looked liked they really enjoyed themselves!! Then there was a Cancer survivor Parade and this was a special as there was a 45 year survivor! That was wonderful!!! Then to end the day my girl Caroline Tela-Sagale wanted to put on the pink skirt I made for the prop mannequin the night before. So I let her do it! She was so cute as she wanted the butterfly for her hair piece too!! Ofcourse gf Mausa had to help her get dressed! Plus she did have a purse that matched everything so off she went home with the skirt and all ladies were happy!! Loved this! It’s an example of us Mama’s need to just keep celebrating life and have fun doing it!! Ok until next year pls join us!!! 🤙🏽🩷😊

The Annual Women’s conference did not just be a one day of prep because the planning committee has been planning for months, I just came in to assist the night before which was the day before prep!! I helped with the props and worked throughout the night, but hands off to my wonderful coworker Mickie Sanchez who is the designer of the decor. She told me how to make the pink skirt made for the mannequin (more on this skirt later 😉) She designed the other backdrops and decor which was simply beautiful! The event is going on its 15th year and the goal is to celebrate us women and to really take time to take care of ourselves! Loved to work with this committee! But it is hard work! So good job team!!

It was White Sunday (this is our Samoan Tradition where it’s all about the children) the children where white and lead the Sunday church services and ideally say their memory versus and sing a praise song. This year we try to get “Kassidy” to do her part but it was a “fail” but there’s always next year! 😂 Also since sis Joy has to prepare the church decor this day my family and I made a commitment to help clean my Mama’s Church and that included decor and making breakfast for the kids and congregation! The kids did the decor for the church the night before and my sis Sela and I helped Joy and Jack do the breakfast the morning of! I did my Soyu Spam and Rice and Sela did the sausage and bacon jack did the French toast and eggs! It was a blessed time to serve the people!! All for the kids that my Mama loved! So happy White Sunday!!🤍❤️🌺

It’s my Big Sis’s Birthday today and what can I say except My Big Sis has became my new Mamax2!! Joy Joann Ulufanua O’Brien is Sixty Three today and she needs a good Day Off or Teo days! Mind you she has been retired for a bit already but I really think she still has a full time job helping with everything she manages! She still helps her church with everything as usual! She is the church Treasurer so she be taking care of the books and so always the one they need to talk to!! She also takes care of her daughter even this she is miles away living and serving our country - Taylor! She also takes care of her hubby and all he needs to take care of which is more church duties!! She also takes care of our older brother because that’s what we are to do and take care of our siblings! She is the best aunty to my kids even tho she be triggered when she takes the kids shopping with her and she always is trying to negotiate with the owners of the store for a “good” deal!! So Big Sis Joy, enjoy your birthday today! You deserve a blessed day! So take a few of them! Then come back and continue your retirement life taking care of everyone 😉🎂🙏🏽❤️

This day was a great day as we went to see our Nephew Tyson Ruffins #56 of Cal Berkeley who played against UNLV and even tho we didn’t get the W our Tyson did great!! All his family came in full force and we sure sported our Ruffin gear!!! It was also great because we were in the Allegiant Stadium and so Mr Noa had to stop at the store and of course he got his RAIDERS gear and we (Riley and I) threw a few items in the bag too! Mr Noa posed for a few pics and you can see he was EXCITED being in that stadium! Then we got some good seats for Mr Noa and Murphy as we got them into the club seat! Thank you guest services at ADA desk for the tix! I got their drinks and settled them in, while I went to cheer on my nephew in other seats with my OG Mama’s 😊 It was exciting! Then we met with Tyson after the game which was awesome!! Plus Joy and I met AJ Tuitele on Tyson’s team who plays linebacker for Cal and this is Sia (Afusia’s) and Luatasi’s grandson and it was good to see old family!! The stadium is beautiful and the college game was wonderful to watch. Now the next day we watched the Raiders and KC game at the hotel which was good enough! Darn it because they got the L too 😏 Well that didn’t stop us for enjoying our time!! It’s always good fun times with Family and Friends!!!
