loves 🫀

the people you meet make the trip more meaningful than the destination itself. 🌍
i’ve realised that travelling isn’t about finding yourself. it’s about connecting with people who resonate with your true self and bring out the best in you. thank you (and many unmentioned) for making my 2024 on the other side of the globe. 🫂

After 5 months in Utila I’m saying goodbye. so grateful for the place that became a second home for me.
Those who have lived in Utila will agree with me that life on this island is like a long series, same place, same boat, same bars, same day trip to the keys, or afternoon at the point. Yet, each season is filled by new beautiful people, some of them will get deep into your heart and some of them will be just a distant family, but still, on this island you’re FAMILY. Some of them will be main characters in your series, but you’ll need to be ready to say goodbye by the end of the season. Just like real life, but on steroids at a tiny island on the Caribbean.
Everyday the ferry leaves and you look from far, from time to time you send a close friend on it, until one day, you’ll be on it yourself.
Thank to all the people I met in this wonderful series, thank to @underwatervision (best dive shop in Utila) I finished my role here❤️😉

Happy International Whale Shark Day! I can’t believe we got to swim with this beautiful giant today in Utila!

And sharing these moments with friends just makes everything better. I’ll never get tired of seeing these animals in their element 🌊
