Spring rivers in the Adirondacks feel like a reset button. With Lake George officially reaching ice-out yesterday and maybe Adirondack lakes shortly following , everything begins to move again—water, air, and energy. This season isn’t about rushing, it’s about renewal… slower mornings, deeper breaths, and finding peace in the sound of the current 🌿

This time next week, we’ll be surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Adirondacks! One of my all-time favorite trips—can’t wait to soak in those stunning views again.
🛶
Although the beach will always be number one, the Adirondacks are always a good choice!

Thrilled that this little Lake Placid house is currently among the TOP 1% of homes on @airbnb ! Wow! Grateful for all the precious families, couples and groups of friends who’ve stayed here over the past three years. Swipe to see a few of our recent reviews. Thank you all!

Achieving the top 1% on Airbnb means we’re one of the highest ranked homes based on ratings, reviews and reliability. The highlight is updated regularly using various factors including overall star ratings, feedback in guest reviews; ratings for check-in, cleanliness, accuracy, communication, location, and value, and more. I can promise you we’ll do our best to maintain this level of hosting.

I’m especially proud because of all the work that went into the restoration and remodeling of this space. Shout out to @cantwelljackson and @emcejay ! We love this little house, the Adirondacks and all it has to offer. We don’t operate multiple rental properties. This is not part of some investment portfolio run by a management company. 👀 We are seasonal residents who spend 4 months a year here, and happily share our house with others when we’re not here. When guests have questions, I’m the one responding. 😀 We buy local. Hire local. Support local businesses. We support a healthy, vibrant community and believe a responsible short-term rental can make a positive contribution. ❤️
