Bristol is a British port city with deep connections to Caribbean sound system culture. From thundering reggae sound systems, to the heady atmospheres of Portishead and Massive Attack, to drum & bass pioneers like Roni Size and Krust, to the haunted, futurist bass weight of labels like Livity Sound and Tectonic, Bristol’s sonic identity remains ever-evolving, uniquely spacious, and rooted in the dance. Bristol-based DJ, producer and label owner, @sirhissbristol is a resident DJ on SWU FM with music released on No More Mailouts, Pineapple Records, Lifted Icons, White Peach Records & Trapdoor Records. Sir Hiss’s collaborative, exploratory approach on his debut full length “Time Dilation”—out now on @pineapplerecords_pnpl—draws from Bristol sound system culture to create a record that is at once playful and apocalyptic. Sensational features from Logan_Olm, AÆE, and K-65 round out this forward-thinking album that explores the spaces between grime, techno, and electro. @MOODBOARD_party x @REACT_nc are proud to present a night of international underground pressure at the brand new location of @_boomclub as we welcome Sir Hiss to Durham on his US tour alongside a lineup of the NC underground’s finest. SIR HISS ( @sirhissbristol ) (PINEAPPLE RECORDS, BRISTOL) VELLE ( @musicvelle ) (20/20 LDN, DURHAM) TANTŌ ( @tanto_music ) B2B FLEX ARIANI ( @flexariani ) (REACT, GREENSBORO) DJ DIAVLA ( @diavla999_ ) (DURHAM) Grab your Advance tickets now on Eventbrite! 🗓️ Friday, March 13 📍 @_boomclub 🎟 Get tix: bit.lt/sirhissreact Open Decks at 8:30pm powered by @blends_with_friends

ARTIST HIGHLIGHT : DJ DIAVLA @diavla999_ DJ DIAVLA was forged in the bass-thumping underworld of North Philadelphia and now brews her sonic potions in Durham, NC. An open-format spellcaster of Amapiano, GQOM, Afrobeats, and Phonk, she conjures dark bounce vibes that make bodies move like they’ve been possessed by rhythm itself. Her sets drip with mischief and melody.. summoning sweat, laughter, and the kind of memories that cling to your soul long after the lights fade. DIAVLA doesn’t just play music, she summons it, leading every dance floor into a fiery communion of beat, bass, and bliss. 🔥😈 @MOODBOARD_party x @REACT_nc are proud to present a night of international underground pressure as Bristol grime meets NC bass. SIR HISS ( @sirhissbristol ) (PINEAPPLE RECORDS, BRISTOL) VELLE ( @musicvelle ) (20/20 LDN, DURHAM) TANTŌ ( @tanto_music ) B2B FLEX ARIANI ( @flexariani ) (REACT, GREENSBORO) DJ DIAVLA ( @diavla999_ ) (DURHAM) Grab your Advance tickets now on Eventbrite! 🗓️ Friday, March 13 📍 @_boomclub 🎟 Get tix: Linked in Bio Open Decks at 8:30pm powered by @blends_with_friends
