The curb might’ve got my ankle, but the Lord has my heart… and you best believe I’m gonna dance on the grave that I once lived in!

September was 3 years long and also only lasted 3 days! We celebrated Tyler’s 35th birthday with sweet friends, I got to go to Chicago with the most amazing team @solution_sgroup and got exactly zero pictures with a single person 🤦🏼‍♀️ (but peep photo number 10, I DID manage to make a quick stop at the Hello Kitty Cafe, so…), Ruby did her own makeup one morning before school which was a TREAT, we started practicing Christmas music @leeparkchurch, and all month long, my kids were just cute little muffin lambs, per usual.

My girl!! It was 23 years ago that God answered the prayer of a little 9 year old girl that wanted a little sister. The unexpected blessing we didn’t even know we needed. She made our family complete. She is smart, kind, loving, creative, so intentional with everything she pursues and loves the Lord and her church. Happy Birthday my sweet Noel!!! I love you.

Gods been so good to allow me to be a part of the beautiful work that is being done is Cristo Rey. It’s so crazy to see how far this city has come and how happy these families are. Something God has been teaching me lately is to trust in the plan He has for my life. These past couple of years God has really blessed me beyond measure and has taught me to just lean on Him and dwell in the peace and confidence that only He can give. Nicaragua will always be special to me and I can’t wait until I can see all my friends again.
Sit in the stillness of God and you will find peace.💙

The most holy day of my life, on this side of heaven.

I have never felt God’s presence more deeply than I did on my wedding day. All morning, my heart was fixed on one thing: how ready and eager I was to finally see Camden.

Weddings are designed with intention. You are kept apart until the right moment, so that when you finally meet at the altar, the anticipation makes the union all the more meaningful. Throughout the day, I was reminded that this is a reflection of something far greater, the eagerness with which Jesus longs to come for His bride, the Church.

It reminded me that just as I waited with joy and expectation, I should live ready and eager to meet Christ when He comes. Our wedding became a living picture of the gospel, a glimpse of how deeply Jesus loves us and how faithfully He pursues His people.

Thank You, Jesus, for the love You have given us. Thank You for the people You placed in Camden’s life and in mine, who have shaped us and advanced Your Kingdom. And thank You for being so present on the most sacred day of our earthly lives.
