Watchung is one of my all time fav bookstores! it’s so cozy!! so of course when @noelia.reads visited i had to bring her 🤎🤎🥰

reading updates:

i plan on starting If It Makes You Happy today!!! i am SO SO excited for it <3 i finished my Kiss The Sky reread & before i reread more KBR i want to try and read a new book! i’m also catching up on ARCs rn. more to come on that xx

oh the joys of visiting a new bookstore 🌟🩷🥂🧚🏻☕️

me & noe visited @mcnallyjackson in new york and i’m obsessed!!! it was so beautiful and had incredible selections! i’ve been on the hunt for a new copy of Alice & Wonderland and they had a great Penguin Class edition that i got<3

also…. i… read a book! on my kindle. we’re so back!!! i’m hoping to get out of this slump finally 💞

It’s Different This Time is my absolute favorite autumn book. and i can’t believe it’s her debut?!??! this book was CINEMATIC!!!! to me. played like a movie in my head the whole time. i was so lucky to have gotten an eARC for it so now i’m so excited to annotate my physical copy 🤭🥂🧡🌟🎫☕️

hi besties <3 i’ve been a little mia the last few days! i was under the weather for a bit and then i took a small trip to tennessee which was so fun 🥰

- it depends on the season! in the spring/ summer i like to read outside during the day and during fall/winter i like to read at night inside 🥰

🎧 audio or ebook?
- both but definitely lean towards ebooks!

📖 fiction or nonfiction?
- fiction! i would love to read more nonfiction but i never have a strong pull for them 🫠 (give me recs!!!)

📚 paperback or hardcover?
- hardcover for sure

🤭 emotional or happy?
- both! i think it really depends on the genre because i love an emotional mythology retelling but a happy romance book lol

🎶 silence or noise?
- mostly silence, but i like occasional noise like a fan, lofi music, ambience, etc 💖

📝 annotations or clean pages?
- usually clean pages but i have a few books i’ve annotated before! i just forget to do them but i would love to annotate during some future rereads of books

- multiple! i used to read one at a time but now i usually read 2-3 at a time

White Nights🕯️

This book is for the lonely... my words can't even begin to describe how perfectly Dostoyevsky comprehends depression, sadness and feeling alone even in a world full of people.

The narrator (our main character) we don't even learn his name throughout this less than 100 page book, but we do learn the name of another character... Nastenka. Nastenka is written nearly 100 times... the ending asks who are you more like... the lonely dreamer or the girl who couldn't see what was right infront of her the entire time?
