This year’s theme at [un]familiar was the Fire Horse 🔥🐎

And what better way to celebrate than bringing my own Chinese zodiac sign, Charlie the Monkey, along for the ride? 🐒

Growing up with Vietnamese roots, the Lunar New Year has always been part of my culture. It makes me so happy to see more Asian traditions finding their way into Western celebrations and bringing different cultures together. 🥹

A little Fire Horse energy, a little Monkey spirit, and a whole lot of love for this beautiful community. ❤️‍🔥✨

And honestly, what could be more magical than celebrating with friends in a castle? 🏰💫

A huge thank you to the incredible team and crew behind @unfamiliar_festival for bringing this magical experience to life year after year and creating a space where music, creativity, curiosity, playfulness, and beautiful souls come together. 🥰

Here's to more magical nights, playful hearts, and memories that last forever. 💖

4. Conscious Connection · friday 16.10. · 16:00 – 16:45 · red room
Noëmi is an embodiment mentor & big conscious connection enthusiast. She creates spaces worldwide for people to drop the performance, get curious & actually meet each other. Her work blends psychosomatic awareness, emotional intelligence & playfulness to make human connection feel natural again.
Felix lives by the belief that the world is our playground & growing older is no reason to stop playing. As part of the Unfamiliar crew, he helps bring this spirit into the festival. For him, playfulness thrives when we’re attentive to each other’s desires, needs & personal space.
This weekend, they invite you to explore how conscious connection helps us build a playground where we dare to open up, follow our curiosity & play together.

@heleneklug.art is the kind of friend who writes me love letters and seals them with wax.

We used to live together here in Lisbon, so I’ve been blessed to have a front row seat to her art for years. But also to the life behind it..

Paint everywhere around our house + on all of her clothes. The late nights. Her insane dedication. Constant experimentation. Inspiration.

And alongside all of that, our life. The messy parts, the beautiful parts, the breakdowns, the glowing up, the becoming.

And somehow, watching all of that find its way into her art.

Last night we celebrated the closing of „Entre Corpos e Terras“ @vagabundogallery - and standing there looking at her work, I just felt soooo proud.

So special to watch your friends becoming.

Show up. Share their work. Buy their art… ✨👀
More on that last one soon.
