I could’ve stopped doing Dream Big Athletics after my first camp because it didn’t meet my expectations. I thought it was going to be bigger. But 3 moments changed everything for me:

1 — As I was pulling up, I saw a kid running to the camp with his cleats in his hands. Right then, I knew it was bigger than me . God gave me this vision for a reason—to give kids an opportunity and pour back into South Dallas.

2— My friends who were playing college ball showed up to help give back to the kids in my neighborhood. That support meant everything.

3 — I had two kids come all the way from Houston just to attend. That showed me the impact could go way further than I imagined.

Over the last 8 years, Dream Big Athletics has grown far beyond anything I ever imagined. What started as just a vision turned into over 10 free camps alongside NFL and college athletes, impacting more than 1,000 kids’ lives—including reaching youth all the way in ATL and Cali.

We’ve built real relationships, hosted donation drives, fed the homeless in Downtown Dallas, and even became part of South Dallas community history at Fair Park in my own neighborhood. I’ve had the opportunity to speak on K104 and spread awareness about the mission behind DBA and what we truly stand for.

And the truth is—I’ve accomplished all of this while navigating my own personal journey behind the scenes.

Moral of the story: if you’ve got a dream or a goal you’re chasing, don’t stop. Keep God first. Believe in yourself. Don’t think small—take it as far as you want. It’s all on you.

Much love and appreciation to my mentor and everyone who’s been part of this journey—helping us grow, stay grounded, and keep pushing forward.

GUNS! 💪🏾 Even after the interruption of inguinal hernia surgery, I’ve stuck to my guns in pursuing physical health and fitness in my 40th year of life. My Cholesterol is normal for the first time in 5 years. Stretch therapy and chiropractic have me more mobile. My trainers and brothers @josephwalls88 @nograyarea__ have pushed me to be disciplined in chiseling the physique I desire. The pictures I take in the gym are to chronicle my journey and motivate myself and others to keep going no matter what, stick to your guns! 2026 loading!
