POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Oh Hi 👋 It's me, Matthew, that guy who never posts 🫠 Coming to you today with a selection of work recently shot for the Times News Group. Been loving shooting for these community newspapers this year!

Hi. I’m Elyshia. Well, Lysh (like most people I only get my full name when I’m in trouble or someone doesn’t know me yet)…

I’m not short of a word (some would say I don’t shut the fk up), so trying my best to introduce myself without 17 side stories 😂

Am I an MBA graduate?
A strategist?
A mum?
ADHD but thrives in organized chaos?
Owner of far too many half-finished creative projects?
Allergic to putting away washing?
Business builder?

Yes to all of the above!

I don’t fit into a nice neat category or under a generic title - and since I’ve stopped trying, life has been so much better!

I plan on putting more time into this page (along with Substack, updating the link in bio, putting my washing away…. ☠️🫠).

Expect the unexpected. A turbulent yet curated mix of business, travel, parenting, real life, fashion, dopamine dressing, ADHD, perimenopause, writing, career developments | pivots | epiphanies, an inappropriate quantity of memes, the occasional existential crisis, raw truths, and more.

Every post will be honest.

Hopefully they make you laugh, get you thinking, perhaps see where I can support your journey, and some will likely make me cringe at why I hit post 🫣

If you’ve ever felt like you’re “too much”, wonder why you can remember your childhood phone number but not why you walked into the room, have several new life and business ideas a day, wonder why there are always so many noises at once, and feel like you have 7 different chrome browsers grouped by tab topic open in your brain, know how capable you are but eternally live with imposter syndrome… but still know you can achieve whatever you put your mind to…

Welcome! Because me too!

Thanks for being here - let’s chat!

We love bumping into local creatives doing their thing on the streets of Geelong! Yesterday we came across Matthew O’Donnell @noiromancer with his large format camera taking photographs as part of a series celebrating local stories, people and legacy of places in Geelong.

From Investigations In Infrastructure, a book I curated exploring the infrastructure of our everyday environment. 📚

I recently reviewed Gregory Halpern’s latest photobook, King, Queen, Knave on my YouTube channel and Substack! I think that this is Gregory Halpern’s best book so far, and one of the most interesting and well executed contemporary photobooks I’ve ever seen. I’ve included a lot of background information from interviews with Halpern, along with my analysis of the photographs and the sequence. So if you’re a fan of his work, or you’re considering ordering a copy (or even if you already have one), I’m sure you’ll find it an interesting watch or read. Links in bio

🔥 SUBMIT YOUR WORK! We’re starting to promote the work of a lot more photographers (both here and on Substack), so please submit your work, we’d would love to see it! Link in bio.
