POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In recovery mode with a developing sore throat and headache from a Saturday evening screening and after show. Every viewing has hit the emotions differently. This one was the clash between the old and new. Meeting parents of Kave Kids to meeting Kave Kids kids as they watched the film was mind-boggling. Leah's mom and Brandon's folks were so supportive which helped relieve some of the uncertainty. The stars of the evening were my next gen Kave Kids. Bri, Hazel, Reese, Jack, Parker, Liam, Atreyu, and many others I have yet to master their names. These kids were the rock stars and exactly why this thing ever started in the first place. Passing the torch. Also noted Adam hugging, lugging, high-fivin all these kids. They all love him and one day he will make a mighty fine Dad. Huge thanks to Ricky and crew for tackling this thing, Lenny forever, Kave gals and Adam for bodyguard and therapy/processing services, Free to Think, Fake Smile, Let it go (Carter with vocals top notch), Last Embrace and all these bands had to say. Your words and shared experiences keep the door open for the younger generation to feel accepted and have their place to express their plight and concerns. You kids have embraced what it all meant ten fold. Extra bonus for me was having Joe Riley seeing all the old footage for 1st time and hearing him choked up at the memories. I could definitely feel Gabe all around us and glad Liz was with Joe. Mega hugs from Liam, Tj (say an extra prayer) and Jen, and Matt Vachon whom I hadn't seen in years added to the genuinely beauty of the moment. We had many new and alot seeing it 2, 3 and 4 times!! Thank YOU all that have been on this journey offering neverending love and support. May need to go on tour with this beast!

So, yesterday I sent Soundguy Mike the invitation for tonights viewing at the Old Town Theater and his response "interesting". I mull it over for a couple hours and replied "was hoping you may make an appearance". No reply. Few hours later he inquires on times and replied "I will be late". My gut says some mischief is afoot tonight. Perhaps the big dogs are leaping off the porch!!!

T-minus 24 hours and counting down. Ticks at the door- $20 instead of $25 as I know we ask alot from you kids given all the shows lately, and the constant price jacking of everyday living. Let's send Forked Tongue off in grand fashion, and welcome new comers up north Half-Step. Need I say more? Fury Of Five has not been to Maine since 2000 and my ol' buddies in Brick By Brick since 2013 with Biohazard. 7p.m. sharp kids. It's either the porch or running with the big dogs time.

There she is. All tour posters from The Kave in chronological order on one little thing. For years we talked about a coffee table book and finally we are making that dream come true. Sometimes hard work and perseverance comes through kids. LETS GOOOO

98% ready. All tour posters chronological and ready for Staples scanning and digitizing tomorrow. Flyers and random artwork on extra hard drives for Carter to work his magic on this coffee table book. Plus a treasure chest of really cool Kave props he can use. Big batch of local bands demos on cd I have collected over the years for Isak to digitize. We are thinking a compilation to go with this creation. Feels like a huge relief as many years we have talked about just this. My work in this little music scene is almost done kids.

HOLY OL' HELL. New Jersey and New York invades Maine. Big bucket list band soon to be checked off and I am stoked! FURY OF FIVE returns after having not played here since 2001 or so, one of my top 10 all time favorite bands. Our great friends in Brick by Brick are back having not played here since 2014. Don't sleep on our locals either. This is a heavy damn show kids and sitting on the big dog porch is not allowed. Ticket link in bio(I think). Technology is my weak link. LETS FRIGGIN GOOOOOO.
