Lacoste showed their SS27 collection today in Paris.

Pelagia Kolotouros continues to prove that sportswear does not mean basic and that Lacoste can be and is a house of elevation. This season, Lacoste moved through one of the strongest color stories of the season, from clay, rust and olive into cobalt, tennis ball yellow and finally stained white.

The silhouettes were relaxed but sensual, the technical pieces felt genuinely elevated, and familiar Lacoste codes were pushed into a much more directional fashion language. Polos, track pieces, tailoring and tennis references all remained recognizable without ever feeling nostalgic.

The strongest moments came when heritage was treated with wit: tennis ball yellow becoming tailoring and embellishment, technical outerwear becoming sophisticated and Parisian, and pristine tennis whites ending the show marked by clay.

This is not the Lacoste of the early 2000s. It is Lacoste operating fully as a French fashion house.
