Esteemed Fellas, Welcome. At last we have reached the end of the regular season, marking the end of the season for most. Although it is supposed to be a sad time, the boys are in great spirits, ready to go out there and run like the wind past the competition. As always, there has been some controversy regarding the selection of the postseason roster, forcing many to grapple with Coach N’s bombshell of a decision. In case you are wondering, the postseason roster is as follows… @owen_tuyls18, @maxfuges4, @jeschke.jonas, @cadenmueller_, @nolanvanbruggen, @rexcraig335, Leo Derry, @averyarthur1009, @nihirketkar, & @nolan_olson1 Oh yeah, did we forget to mention that Nolson is back from the dead, ready to race again. Fortunately for him the whole team has his back and rooting for his return. On the Contrary, the long standing debate on how to pronounce Coach Sweers’s name is as heated as ever. A few people are already looking past today’s meet, gearing up for what will surely be an Ice Cream Runtm for the ages. Despite running worse times, our Jv king @nihirketkar, has made postseason, over the likes of Samuel, @cooperh.1234, and (unsurprisingly), @carter_b011. The Benedict Arnold of Xc, @harrisonflem1, is planning to make a surprise appearance to the Johnston Xc course, hoping to be our number 1 Cheerleader. You better be ready to witness greatness today, because the boys are hungrier than ever, and I can’t think of anyone who can stop us 😈.

Meet: @Johnston High School
9/10 – 4:00pm
Jv – 5:00pm
Var – 5:55pm

*Admission is $8, but we recommend sneaking in*

Ladies & gentlemen, Boys & girls, you better buckle up. while our beautiful Jv runners are resting at home, it’s that time of year to give the Varsity boys their time to shine. The squad traveled down yonder to Columbia Missouri, at Mizzou university. After a great long suburban trek, the boys successfully completed their pre-meet run. Upon arrival, the squad ran a quick geoguesser game on the hotel lobby iPad; believe it or not @averyarthur1009, helped to carry the team to a near perfect score. Shortly after that, the fellas put away 70 fazoli breadsticks, headlined by @nolan_olson1’s 12 breadsticks devoured, making for a great pre-meet dinner. Additionally, @owen_tuyls18 , (aka Iceman) showed everyone his unorthodox ice bath methods. The squad woke up this morning locked and loaded, inspired by the Colorado school of mine’s astonishing performance in the college race. Finally out of his boot @nolan_olson1 , and @nolanvanbruggen finally reunited with their old friend Daniel Rotich, whom placed 33 at this very competitive college meet. Furthermore Nielsen will be keeping a close eye on Leo with rumors of a co-ed dinner tonight. As always, the boys are ready to exceed everyone’s expectations, and they will hopefully find their “Championship DNA” today.

Meet: @Gans Creek Cross Country Course
Boys start at 8:00pm sharp - we appreciate anyone and everyone willing to make the drive

Welcome all. Today, just one week removed from their inspiring performance at Ames, the Squad will travel all the way to Marshalltown for the 53rd rendition of the Bobcat Invitational. Today will bring better weather and many more Pr’s than last week, although we know it’s never about the time. Unfortunately for the team, @nolan_olson1 and @nolanvanbruggen are out for the second consecutive week, leading to the promotion of @jeschke.jonas to the Varsity top 7. The Wolves are in high spirits because this week the whole entire team will take on the hilly Marshalltown course, and after the delicious team dinner yesterday the Wolves are on the hunt. A now two time runner of the week recipient @averyarthur1009 hopes to galvanize the team to new heights, inspiring everyone to do their best and focus on the controllables. Coach Nielsen had the majority of group 1 cuddle in the ice baths yesterday, hoping to form new friendships and to improve the team chemistry and culture. Certain individuals such as @nihirketkar and @cooperh.1234 hope to rebound from their uncharacteristic races last week, fighting for that number 7 spot. The continued reliance on our young core has instilled confidence in our freshmen and sophomores, who hope to come out of the 9/10 race victorious. Once again Ladies and Gentlemen… We know that the Wolves will put on a show, but everything is up for grabs, who knows who might step-up and take it.

Meet: @MarshalltownCommunityCollege, We’ll see you there.
9/10: 4:55
JV: 5:55
Var: 6:50
