Our Kansas City Jr Blues embarked on an unforgettable journey to Elkhart, Indiana, departing Wednesday afternoon with high hopes and a fierce determination to prove ourselves as the dark horse contenders.

**Thursday Match vs Charlotte Tigers: Win 36-34**
Our first match was a thrilling battle against the Charlotte Tigers. With tries from Lance Nauer, Aiden Chavez x3, and Kade Giegerich, along with clutch conversions and penalties from Tommy Bowen & Kade Giegerich, we edged out a nail-biting 36-34 victory.

**Friday Semifinal vs St Joseph’s: Win 41-33**
In the semifinals, we faced St Joseph’s from Philly in another intense matchup. With standout tries from Lance Nauer x4, Aiden Chavez x2, and Auggie Johnson, and conversions from Tommy Bowen we secured a hard-fought 41-33 victory.

**Championship Game vs San Mateo Wolverines: Loss 15-20**
In the championship game, we faced the San Mateo Wolverines. Despite a valiant effort and tries from Tommy Bowen and Luke Connell and a penalty and conversions by Kade Giegerich , we fell just short with a final score of 15-20.

**Highlights:**
- We visited Notre Dame University, capturing moments at Touchdown Jesus and sneaking into the iconic Notre Dame football stadium for unforgettable photos. Our walkthrough at the Notre Dame rugby field set the tone for our semifinal clash.

**Pride and Unity:**
This campaign showcased the heart and spirit of our team, comprised of players from 12 different schools. The KC Jr Blues came together to embody the essence of Kansas City rugby, taking on the identity of the Jr Blues and Blues men’s rugby team. We are immensely proud of this squad’s effort and determination, and we remain the dark horse force to be reckoned with.
