If you ask me how I feel 15 years after starting Dr. Price TV, my answer is simple: Vindicated.

Make no mistake, #DrPriceTV was designed to showcase cultures that a lot of people didn’t understand, or simply didn’t get to see enough of.
HBCU culture. Greek culture. Dance culture. Band culture. My culture.

Dr. Price TV was, and still is, a product of my environment.

And none of this came easy.

When I started, I heard every reason why I wouldn’t make it. I wasn’t good enough. I’d never be as successful as this person or that person. And once I did begin to experience success, the adversity just showed up in different forms.

There was a time when I couldn’t even walk into a stadium with a camera without being heckled.

But I kept pushing.

If you’ve truly followed this journey, you know getting here was tough. Staying here has been even tougher.

But I’m still here because my purpose was always bigger than proving people wrong.

Year 15 looks different.———>

In addition to continuing Dr. Price TV, I’m now stepping into another chapter of my career as Media Director for the St. Augustine High School Marching 100.

And I finally have something I always knew I needed:

space and opportunity to create.

We’ve built a social media presence with an impact that rivals, and in some cases exceeds, what you see from collegiate band programs. This year alone, several of our videos have surpassed one million views, and the platform has grown into one of the largest high school marching band platforms on social media.

Am I surprised?

No.

I always knew what I was capable of when given the opportunity to fully create. And with this endeavor, the mission is nowhere near accomplished. There’s still a lot of work to do. But I know I’m headed in the right direction.

Most importantly, I’m grateful.

Grateful for everybody who encouraged me, supported me, defended me, worked alongside me, believed in the vision and reminded me to keep going.
Some of those people are in these pictures.

The first photo includes former members of Dr. Price TV, my guys from years ago who were there through the good times, the growing pains and everything in between. And that same gratitude exten

Republicans in Louisiana speak freely without consequence—but when a Democratic leader stands up for working people, they’re punished. Removing Commissioner Lewis from his leadership position isn’t about decorum; it’s about silencing opposition.

Young Democrats won’t stand for it. We see this for what it is—an attempt to weaken our voices and intimidate those who fight for accountability. We stand with Commissioner Lewis and will continue organizing to hold those in power accountable. Thank you to @nolimitiso1 for speaking up. #lalege #lagov
