⚠️ Snapped mast!!! ☠️🌵
Not the best situation when you’re kms offshore… Half way through the Osullies run, @mtdeverest snapped his mast during a turn. What started as a super fun parawing fun session, quickly became pretty sketchy as we realised there was no way to fix this.
After trying to use the wing to get in, paddling ended up being the most efficient and direct way to manage the distance. 3km of rough ocean paddling.
Lesson learned, bring a spare mast??!

A few weeks ago I was out at Whiterocks Portrush (Northern Ireland) and @michaelyoung688 caught me on his drone and sent me this amazing video. All credit to him, the footage of where I’ve surfed and now foiled for the last 30 years. I celebrated my 50th just before this and I’ve never been so happy in the water. Thanks Michael for sharing.
