Forever being humbled by Cynotype!

Here's this afternoons process, showing the good the bad and the ugly (remember to invert people!). Nice to test a different medium with this shot taken of @nom_d during @nzfashionwk Ōtautahi The Spring Edit.

Perhaps the true art is the mistakes we make along the way?

Fashion for a cause 💗 @breastcancercure’s Tees for a Cure is back for its 11th year, bringing together some of Aotearoa’s most celebrated designers to raise funds for a future free from breast cancer.

This year, we spoke to a longtime Kiwi model and breast cancer survivor about why she chose to lend her voice to the campaign, and the message she hopes to share with other women.

Sixty makers, one brief, and as many readings of what a collar could be. They hung at the height they’d be worn, turning on twine. @lelajacobs has been preoccupied with the collar in her own practice for years, and when she put the question out, the answers came back pinned, tucked, beaded, threaded, cut, embroidered, woven, and commerce nowhere in it.

She curated the show with the collective at @thekeep__, and I left wanting to know more, so caught up with Lela for an interview in the new issue of @homestylemag.

Collar comes to Ōtautahi this month as part of the @nzfashionwk Spring Fashion Festival. Can highly recommend nabbing a ticket… It’s even better in person.

Enter the Dressing Room for a cure 🩷
An everyday ritual has been transformed into an impactful immersive experience to launch @breastcancercure’s latest Tees for a Cure campaign.
Called The Dressing Room and open now until Monday afternoon at the New Zealand International Convention Centre, the sprawling fashion installation stretches almost 24 metres long and five metres high, with hundreds of t-shirts forming part of the façade to showcase this year’s collection.
As well as the experience, designs from well-known labels like @karenwalker @kirinathan @trelisecooper @kowtowclothing and @nom_d can be bought onsite, their sale supporting Breast Cancer Cure’s vital research.
General admission is free, but bookings are essential at the Breast Cancer Cure website.
