Here are a few of my favourite watches from Chronography Dublin. Such a variety of watches made it hard to pick but I loved seeing each brand in person! #watchesireland #watchenthusiast #watchtok #luxurywatch #watchesdublin

🚨 NEW WATCH ALERT 🚨 A little piece of Belfast joins the collection: my new @nomadic.watches Maraí 401 in 36mm! ⚓️ Founded in 2021 by Peter McAuley, Nomadic takes its name from SS Nomadic, the last surviving White Star Line ship. With watches designed and assembled in Belfast, the brand carries the city’s maritime history and engineering spirit onto the wrist. That story continues with the Maraí: its name means “seafarer” in Irish, while 401 refers to Titanic’s shipyard number at Harland & Wolff. Even the yellow seconds hand nods to Belfast’s iconic shipyard cranes. Little details that give this watch a real sense of place. And the specs are impressive too: ⚙️ Swiss Sellita SW200-2 automatic movement 🔋 65-hour power reserve 📏 36mm steel case, 44.5mm lug-to-lug and just 11.2mm thick 🌊 Unidirectional ceramic bezel ✨ BGW9 Super-LumiNova 🔗 Steel bracelet with MicroGlide adjustment 📅 Date neatly positioned at six o’clock I’m honestly so happy with this one. The compact proportions, the finishing and the character make it such an enjoyable watch to wear. Having that connection to Ireland makes it feel even more special. A huge thank you to @petemcauley_ii and the whole Nomadic team for the fantastic work. The care you put into the watches and the way you look after people really stand out. Delighted to have a small part of your story in my collection. 👏 What do you think of the 36mm Maraí? Would you go compact or choose the 40mm? 👇 #NomadicWatches #Marai401 #NewWatchAlert #BuiltInBelfast #watchfam

Well that was an insanely good weekend!! To give a bit of a back story, I decided to put on my own watch exhibition in my home town of Dublin and managed to get 20 brands to join me including @fortiswatches @chriswardlondon @doxawatchesofficial @oris @nomadic.watches and lots more. On top of that I managed to persuade Rikki from @scottishwatches to hope on a plane and join us for a live taping of the podcast. The event went smoothly with hundreds of watch enthusiasts joining us in the stunning Smock Alley Theatre which dates back to the 1600’s. I created a 44 glossy magazine for the event to highlight the local talent as well as showcase the brands that supported and exhibited at the event. During the day we had “Watch Talks” sponsored by @paulsheeranwatches where they launched the new Gallet brand with the MD of Gallet, we also had previews of the latest watches from fortis before they launched globally on the 13th of October, there was even a limited edition Oris dive watch with a hand painted map of Dublin by @thedialartist . I managed to arrange all of this in less than 6 months which seems to be an impressive achievement and the cherry on top was being able to raise over €3000 for the Irish Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer fund. It was also the first time I got to exhibit the Puzzle concept face to face with collectors. The feedback was fantastic. The planning has already begun for 2027. Stay tuned for more…

🇪🇸 Holiday wristwear: Nomadic Maraí 🇪🇸 The Omega Seamaster and my newly acquired Rolex Starbucks were both in contention for this trip to Spain, but the @nomadic.watches Maraí gets the call. 🌊 The Batgirl has been enjoying plenty of wrist time lately, thanks in no small part to that ridiculously comfortable bracelet. So, in an attempt to give the Nomadic a similar level of wear, I’ve paired it with a custom Jubilee bracelet. And what a difference it makes! 👌 A little Belfast watchmaking on the wrist, some Spanish sunshine, and a reminder that sometimes the watch you want to wear isn’t necessarily the most expensive one in the collection. Now, let’s see how much wrist time it gets for the rest of the holiday! ☀️ #NomadicWatches #NomadicMarai #WatchFam #WristCheck #WatchCommunity

New to me watch day, been looking at this particular watch for a while and really happy with it. Love the local to me historical touches, the propellor rotor and the glossy bezel.
