POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve spent the better half of the last 2 months curating my photos into a collection that best represents my body of work. It’s been fun going back through all the images I’ve taken over the years and reliving some of the memories.

My website is finally live, whilst still being a work in progress. It’s a collection of images from pretty incredible places with some truly wonderful people. Check it out if you wish, tell your friends too if you want. While it’s just a gallery for now, I have some exciting plans for the next coming months that will maybe see the light of day.

“Ambiguous Loss”: when it isn’t clear exactly what you’ve lost or when you lost it; when what you miss doesn’t seem worthy of grief or sadness.
@tarahaelle says “it’s different from a hurricane or tornado where you can look outside and see the damage. The destruction is, for most people, invisible and ongoing.”
How’s that for relevant? Lots of love to everyone out there finding new joy. Keep it going ✌️

The more I sit at home, the more I look through photos from previous adventures. It always feels a little sad but, on the flip side it also feels like motivation to go out and chase more.

Hey friends,

Health check. How is everyone doing right now both mentally and physically? It’s a weird time right now. What books have you been reading lately? Have you created anything? Have you been spending time outside? How have you been occupying your time during these weird and confusing times? We want to know! To help keep the stoke alive, we want to see YOUR photos of you enjoying your time outside while practicing good physical distancing. Whether you've been out for a bike ride, a trail run or a walk around the block - we want to see it all!
•
What have you been up to? Let us know in the comments and tag us in your photos, we want to share the stoke.
•
Love each other, wash your hands and keep your distance. We miss you Peterborough and we can't wait to see you again.

The best days are the simple ones. You wake up with the sun, do your thing and follow the sun to bed.

Missing a cool photo opportunity because you are too lazy to get your camera out should never happen - you paid good money for the dang thing.

We could not be more stoked about this tiny little metal thing. The Peak Designs Capture Clip has finally landed in our store and for good reason. For the past two years staff have been using their products on all their adventures. Documenting their adventure in the deserts of arizona and utah all the way to the coastal rainforest of BC. We love this thing so much we figured it only makes sense to sell it in store. The Capture Clip will work with most backpacks and the baseplate will mount to any camera with a tripod mount. It's super easy to set up so changing bags will never be a hassle. No matter what your thing is, if you're bringing a camera along - this little thing will be worth it's weight in gold, you can trust us on that.

This is what people mean when they say "good morning". Some staff were lucky enough to Go Out and Play out on the Indian River this morning. Fresh snow, hot coffee and two origami kayaks made for a pretty good excuse to be up at 6:30am. If you've never heard about @Oru Kayak we highly recommend that you come in and check them out. They make origami kayaks that fold up to be extremely compact. They fold up small enough to fit inside your car, your apartment or your shed but when used in the water, they feel like any other boat. They are made of 5mm double-layered custom-extruded polypropylene, essentially super super strong corrugated plastic. This makes them super lightweight for carrying to the riverbank from the office. "Honestly, we think they're super rad. We managed to fit two 12ft boats inside a 5 door hatchback - that's not something that you can usually do. They can be assembled and disassembled in an instant and they are pretty comfy to sit in too. They paddle really well and carrying them on land is super easy with them being so light. We are stoked to finally have them in the store." - Ryan and Justin

The @redpaddleco Ride 10'6" is light, easy to use and ready to go whenever you are. Being an entry level, inflatable board; it is perfect for those who are looking to break into the sport without having to invest in a roof rack system. Throw it in the trunk of your car and head out for those after work paddles out on the Otonabee.
