This is a revisit of a film I made ten years ago.

Created as part of my series Terminus, Abyss explored the space between life, death, and the unknown. At the time, I could only push the work as far as the technology and my resources allowed. The vision in my mind was always much larger than what I could create.

A decade later, I returned to it.

Using AI, I wasn’t interested in remaking the film, I wanted to finish a conversation I started years ago. The technology allowed me to rebuild the atmosphere, deepen the scale, and bring the emotional weight closer to what I had always imagined. Not to erase the original, but to reveal what had been there all along.

The performer in this work, Nomi, and I have continued collaborating over the years, and seeing this piece evolve alongside both of our artistic journeys makes it feel less like a remake and more like a reflection on time itself.

Sometimes the work has to wait until you’re finally able to meet it where it wanted to be.

Looking back, I can see the thread that has quietly connected everything I’ve made: time, identity, transformation, and the search for something that feels both weightless and deeply human.

This is only the beginning of where that thread leads.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how work changes over time, not just the work itself, but the people within it, and the person behind the camera.

Ten years ago, I made a film called Abyss as part of a body of work titled Terminus. It was an exploration of the unknown, the space between life, death, and whatever exists beyond. Looking back now, I realize I was also searching for where my own artistic voice wanted to go.

The performer in that film, originally credited as Traiman, now goes by Nomi. We’ve continued collaborating over the years, including on SALLAD, and her background in ballet and contemporary dance has profoundly shaped the way I think about movement, stillness, and presence in my work.

Revisiting these images today feels different. Time has transformed all of us.

Using AI, I’ve been able to reconstruct the piece closer to what I imagined a decade ago, expanding its atmosphere, scale, and emotional weight beyond what was technically possible then. It’s less about replacing the past and more about completing a conversation that began years ago.

Looking back, I can see the thread that has quietly connected everything I’ve made: time, identity, transformation, and the search for something that feels both weightless and deeply human.

This is only the beginning of where that thread leads.

I love my community!!

I know I am a little late, but the #bqaf reception was on point, and the entertainers lead the charge!

Old school Milira came through. Nomi, Eli, and TazDaRealist came through and put it down.

This. This is what community-powered health advocacy looks like. ✊🎨

From the conference rooms to the streets of New Orleans—this is the powerful energy of the IAPAC Fast-Track Cities Summit. I am incredibly honored to be invited to this innovative gathering by Ready Aim Innovate.

A true highlight? Being asked to marshal the Arts March on Day 2. It was a profound reminder that public health isn’t just data and policies—it’s about people, justice, and the unwavering belief that everyone deserves equitable care.

I’m here to absorb it all: the science, the strategy, and the soul. This march is the soul.

What does health equity look like to you? Let me know 👇

Lets talk about it .....

My day 1s still in my Corner like Gracie ....

When I tell you I haven't even scratched the surface of my potential and purpose since 2013 ..... you got another thing coming !

its days I don't wanna get up, days I cry, days I say WTF ...... But never WHY because the why is clear! I'm by no means the perfectionist content creator that films everything and strives for perfection. I don't want to be imprisoned by the very thing I love and that sets me free! CREATION! that shit is ugly, crazy, chaotic and not all of what you think!
You see each of these women behind me has helped me become me! They have been there and theyve seen many sides of myself and vice versa but most of all we've seen true growth in one another and LOVE! everybody may not be here ... but its all love .... theres a bigger picture being painted and I was BORN AN ARTIST.

Welcome to the era of THE BILLIONAIRESS COLLECTIVE .....
