Today we take another look back at DELUXE, reminiscing on One Room, an original work choreographed by Mathew Janczewski in 2018 and remounted for DELUXE. Returning to the stage, this work brought a familiar piece of ARENA Dances’ history to a new audience, highlighting the movement, artistry, and creative vision that continue to shape the company.

A memorable trio and work revisited for an unforgettable evening!

Healing can begin with movement. 🌀

Spiral and Unwind gave us space to move, breathe, release tension, and reconnect with our bodies.

Throwback Thursday!

As we reminisce on DELUXE, we’re taking a moment to celebrate Fishscales, a dynamic work choreographed by Shane Larson early Spring 2026. We have had the pleasure to show case this work many times this year! Through intricate storytelling, physicality, and projected text, Fishscales brought a distinctive energy as well as a personal piece of art to the stage.

A memorable piece from an unforgettable evening and creative process.

As we reminisce on DELUXE, we’re taking a moment to celebrate by Heart, a captivating dance and theater work by Elinor Kleber-Diggs. Blending movement, storytelling, and theatricality, by Heart invited audiences into a world where gesture and emotion speak just as powerfully as words.

A memorable piece from an unforgettable evening and process.

As we get closer to premiering DELUXE, we’re taking a look inside the studio as we restage the work of Minnesota dance legend Morgan Thorson.

It’s such a special opportunity to revisit, learn, and bring new life to Morgan’s work. Restaging this piece has been an inspiring process of discovery, collaboration, and connection—while giving our dancers the chance to experience the artistry and movement language of an incredible Minnesota choreographer.

We can’t wait to share this work with you September 25 & 26 at the Luminary Arts Center as part of ARENA Dances’ DELUXE.
