So much feelings connected to our almost newborn kiddo @oddnorm_experience turning 1 this year⚡️ A lot of euphoric ones, but also an extreme pressure and stress from all over the place. But isn’t that part of taking crazy risks and doing something no one has ever done before? (Just jumping into the ODDKNOWN 🤡)

And the key to it all is the people you do it with. I’m so thankful for the best partners, team, family, friends and amazingly fun and supporting guests. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Let’s celebrate our final weeks together!

The new restaurant movement is redefining dining by transforming meals into extraordinary experiences that tantalize not just the palate but all the senses. Venues like Alchemist in Copenhagen and @sublimotionibiza in Ibiza, which Gourmet recently visited, exemplify this trend, where culinary artistry meets theatrical presentation. We visited the new pop-up restaurant in Stockholm, The Oddnorm Dinner Experience, @oddnorm_experience in partnership with Persona @personasthlm at the old Gas Factory, an extraordinary building in central Stockholm.

It is an unusual experience where food meets light, film, and sound in a chaotic way, serving delicious food in a spectacular manner. All dishes, from the first course featuring parts of real silver to a kind of ramen with a 1.74 meter-long noodle to be eaten with rubber gloves, are part of this journey. The entire scenario changes constantly, and later the bar section, located in the beautiful entrance where Stockholmers once bought gas coins in a room reminiscent of an old bank’s cashier room, transforms into a DJ location with an improvised dance floor.

At comparable restaurants like Alchemist and Submission, diners embark on a multi-sensory journey with an innovative tasting menu that blends avant-garde cuisine with immersive storytelling. Each dish is a work of art, designed to evoke emotions and memories. Similarly, Submission in Ibiza offers a captivating experience that combines fine dining with an engaging atmosphere, often featuring live performances and interactive elements that draw guests into the culinary narrative. This movement celebrates the fusion of gastronomy and entertainment, inviting patrons to not just eat but to fully engage in a unique and unforgettable adventure.

This experience in Stockholm is limited until December 13th and prices are approx 3.600kr/person including wine.
