EAV STRUT 2026 at @529_eav was a nonstop day of music with three separate rounds of events that kept the Strut going from afternoon through the night.

We kicked things off with live music from Ed.Win & Folks, followed by a very special meet & greet with one of punk’s true legends, HR of Bad Brains.

For decades, HR (@therealofficialhr) has been known around the world as the unmistakable voice and frontman of Bad Brains — a band whose influence on punk and hardcore is impossible to overstate. But HR’s musical journey has always gone beyond punk, and it was an honor to have him at 529 for an afternoon meet & greet before returning later that night with HR & The Human Rights.

And @eavstrut would be incomplete without some serious glizzy chaos… 🌭

Our Glizzy Hole Hot Dog Eating Contest put some brave souls to the test, with the winner putting away an absolutely ridiculous NINE Glizzy Hole hot dogs and taking home a $500 cash prize. Could you eat 9 glizzies in 10 minutes?

Then KJ & The Funk Maysons took the stage and kept the afternoon rolling.

After the afternoon festivities, we got ready for round two.

@kayas_embrace kicked off the evening before HR & The Human Rights took the stage.

If you know HR from Bad Brains, you know the punk history. But HR & The Human Rights brought a completely different side of his musical world to 529 — reggae, roots, and a sound that reflects another essential part of his career and musical identity.

Because apparently two shows weren’t enough @nonsenseatl joined the party kicking off a midnight Indie Sleaze Dance Party. 🪩

Three completely different events for a fully packed 2026 EAV Strut at 529. Live music. Punk history. Reggae. Hot dogs. Dancing. Indie Sleaze. And a whole lot of EAV chaos. 🙌

Huge thanks to Ed.Win & Folks, HR, KJ & The Funk Maysons, Kaya’s Embrace, HR & The Human Rights, Nonsense ATL, all of the artists, promoters, crew, vendors, Glizzy Hole, and everyone who came through 529 and made EAV Strut 2026 one for the books.

Three rounds. One venue. 💪
That’s EAV Strut at 529. 🖤
