From breakdancing and tricks to props, costumes, and full performances… Dance Expo is always one of the highlights of the summer 🕺✨
Each week, campers work with our Dance Specialist Eli to learn fun routines, build confidence, and get creative on stage. During the final week of camp, every group performs for the entire camp at our annual Dance Expo 🎤
Last summer even our lifeguards and specialists joined in with a dance of their own 😂👏 We can’t wait to see what this summer brings!

SPOTTED: Camp connections in the wild! 👀💙
You know the magic of camp is real when summer friendships show up in everyday life...
📍 Eli (our dance specialist!) spinning tracks at Emily from Masada’s bat mitzvah 🎶
📍 Counselor Brianna and camper Amelia running into each other at cheerleading/sports practice
📍 Director Kristi and counselor Jaden crossing paths at sports practice
📍 CIT Avery and camper Amelia (plus their moms!) reuniting at cheerleading practice
📍 CIT Val with camper Alex at Wayne Day
From the dance floor to the practice field, our camp family keeps finding each other. These surprise reunions remind us that the bonds formed at camp don’t end when summer does—they become part of your story, woven into your everyday adventures.
This is what “friends become family” looks like beyond days at camp.
Share your get togethers with us too... DM us with your fun camp reunions! 💙

I have been waiting to post this since the beginning of the semester, and I am so excited I finally get to do it, because I have a lot to say.

1st off, for all y’all that didn’t know, I took a street & club dance class this semmy, and let me tell y’all - TEN OUTTA TEN RECOMMEND.

@nonstop.eli you have been THE BEST professor. I have no words for the kind of wisdom you impart onto your students. You show that dance education is valuable, learning about different dance styles is valuable, and believing in what you have to bring to the table is valuable. You have taught confidence, creativity, authenticity, personality. You have taught us how to encourage each other, and be there for each other, and support each other, and cheer for everyone’s strengths. You have been so humble and genuine throughout this entire process of meeting us where we were at the beginning of the semester; many of us in this kind of dance setting for the first time.

I for one definitely was. I wrote a paper last semester (still working on it sorry) about the importance of learning the cultural knowledge systems of different dance forms, and how vital that was to encouraging diversity and breaking stereotypes - and that was my main reason for taking this class. Because it was WAAAAAY out of my comfort zone. Like breakin’? Please, I actually was 😅 having a moment with that style. But I knew I needed to challenge myself if I wanted to really live what I was preaching. And I have no regrets.

@iamliquidejoe thank you for everything. You became so much more than a guest professor. You singling out students, checking in on them, encouraging them, motivating them to practice, and showing them that you care and support them means the world. That first time you told me you were disappointed I didn’t join the cypher - in a weird way, I felt so touched and so much more motivated to do my best for the next time you came to class. Thank you for being such a vital part of my street dance experience, I am so grateful.

I have so so so much more to say. But overall, thank you. This was life-changing for me. Genuinely.

Peace, Love, Unity 🫶🏽
