This weekend I had the distinct honor and privilege to be the officiant for my Godchild (and also nephew) Adam Kimmet and his beautiful new bride, Elise Maschino.

It was a gorgeous weekend filled with amazing family and a ton of laughs. Bonnie would have been super proud and I know she was there in spirit enjoying her son, and new daughter-in-law's, special day.

And here is how we all knew Bonnie was there today.....we were all sweating to death in the sunny 90 degree high humidity during the ceremony. Everyone was fanning themselves, and my reading glasses were wet and steamed due to sweat pouring off my head. It was unbearable in my black suit. We were all looking for some relief (or the officiant to speed up). Then out of nowhere, an instant COLD breeze wall blew through the crowd and instantly cooled the air by 20 degrees, not kidding. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen....it literally felt like an air-conditioner turned on OUTSIDE and the relief in the crowd on all their faces was instant. And it remained cold until the ceremony was over; it was magical. Matt Kimmet looked at me and simply said, "that was mom." 100% agreed it was Bonnie. No other explanation for it.

It was a beautiful day today and Mark and Tracie Hammons Kimmet know how to throw parties!! Love you all. ❤️🍻🕺💃
