💥WE ARE UP AND RUNNING on our first day AT NADA Miami 2025 — BOOTH C309💥 Featuring Marta Lee, Bascha Mon, Keiko Narahashi, Nora Riggs, and Angelo Vasta At NADA Miami, Tappeto Volante presents a multigenerational constellation of voices whose practices intertwine memory, materiality, and emotion. The booth reflects our belief in art as a site of personal revelation and collective resonance—where the intimate becomes universal. Across drawing, painting, and sculpture, the artistic vocabularies of Marta Lee, Bascha Mon, Keiko Narahashi, Nora Riggs, and Angelo Vasta contemplate identity as an evolving terrain shaped by experience, inheritance, and transformation. Gestural abstraction gives form to interior life as movement becomes language, domestic space turns metaphorical, and ceramic figuration channels myth and empathy. This presentation offers a preview of our 2026 season of solo exhibitions as well as a celebration of the strongest works developed throughout 2025. Dates & Times VIP Preview (by Invitation): Tuesday, Dec 2, 10am–4pm Open to the Public: Tuesday, December 2, 4–7pm Wednesday, December 3, 11am–7pm Thursday, December 4, 11am–7pm Friday, December 5, 11am–7pm Saturday, December 6, 11am–6pm Location Ice Palace Studios 1400 North Miami Avenue Miami, FL 33136 Shuttle Service NADA Miami is offering complimentary shuttles to and from the Miami Beach Water Taxi at the Venetian Marina. #NADAMiami2025 #MiamiArtWeek #ContemporaryArt #IndependentGalleries #TappetoVolanteProjects #GowanusBrooklyn

💥ONE WEEK TO GO FOR OUR DEBUT AT NADA Miami 2025 💥 Visit us at BOOTH C309 DECEMBER 2 to 6, featuring Marta Lee, Bascha Mon, Keiko Narahashi, Nora Riggs, and Angelo Vasta. 📍 Ice Palace Studios, 1400 North Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33136. Today’ focus: Nora Riggs @norariggs Nora Riggs (b. 1972) lives and works in Northampton, Massachusetts. She earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1994 and her MFA from Indiana University in 1996. Shortly after finishing her studies, she moved to New York City, where she spent several years working as a night security guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This extended and thoughtful proximity to the museum’s encyclopedic collection deeply influenced her artistic development, fostering a nuanced sensitivity to art history, visual storytelling, and the psychology of images. Riggs’s paintings draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, including Western art canon, mid-century Americana, and 1990s popular culture. Her work features an introspective yet subtly irreverent approach to narrative, often focusing on female figures, domestic spaces, and emotional memory. With compositions that feel both intimate and disorienting, she explores the intricacies of maternal identity, cultural inheritance, and psychological inner worlds. Her painterly language is restrained yet evocative, marked by a quiet tension between clarity of surface and symbolic ambiguity. Riggs has showcased her work in New York, Los Angeles, Georgia, and Massachusetts. Her art continues to gain recognition for its subtle emotional depth and distinctive voice within the broader landscape of contemporary figurative painting. 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️ Nora Riggs Popular Girls 2025 Oil on canvas 30 × 28 in 💃🏽💃🏽 Nora Riggs Girls Dancing, 2025 Oil on canvas 36 × 52 in #ArtBaselMiamiBeach #IcePalaceStudios #TappetoVolanteProjects #BrooklynGallery #ContemporaryArt #FigurativePainting #NarrativePainting #WomenArtists #QueerArtists #EmergingArtists #MartaLee #BaschaMon #KeikoNarahashi #NoraRiggs #AngeloVasta
