—It was my dad’s wish to be buried in his hometown of Da Lat, Vietnam when he passed. We have been meaning to go for years now, but life happened and either cancelled or delayed those plans—Covid, the birth of his grandchildren/my nephews.

Six years later and we finally did it. You’re finally home, dad. Rest easy and we will take it from here.

seitdem wir keine Mitbewohner mehr sind und soweit auseinander wohnen, können wir uns leider kaum noch sehen. Ich wollt nur kurz sagen, dass ich ziemlich häufig an dich denke und dich vermisse.

PS: ich bin immer noch etwas sauer auf dich, weil du damals auf meine Lieblingsjacke gepinkelt hast…
