The same, but different. Two windows for Norma Davies. Each a pleasure to paint, in their own way.

This one in Carmarthen is surrounded by cute little galleries, full of local makers and creators. And it feels nice to be a part of something special there.

Only one window this time, which needs plenty of space for viewing the quirkiest and most stylish spectacles I’ve ever seen.

We finally had some sun! It was 15°C and the bees are back.

Beyond excited to paint another window for Norma Davies, this time at their Morriston branch.

This year they’re supporting Guide Dogs Cymru. And I couldn’t have thought of a better cause myself.

When one of your favourite clients, located on the most gorgeous street, asks you to give them a spring/summer window, and include a guide dog (as that’s their chosen charity this year)… I was begging for a dry day so I could make it happen.

This time for Norma Davies in Morriston. The team there have been so patient with the weather battles I’ve had. I started Sunday, it rained, I waited in the car for it to pass (it didn’t) so back again today!

I’m in love with this window

Love designing windows for @normadaviesopticians

A wintery woodland scene with snowy firs overhanging a clearing. A fox, an owl, squirrel and pheasant surrounded by birch and twinkly snow.

The most perfect Autumn day in Morriston, painting for my faves @normadaviesopticians

The shortest season (it feels like, anyway) but the most gorgeous cosy colours.

The shadows are the absolute BEST too. the lighting today was 🔥

A rather wet day in Carmarthen yesterday! So the photos are not the best. But it felt great getting Norma Davies all autumnal. Next stop, their Morriston branch.

Really trying to loosen my brush strokes when painting big leafy trees.

Charlotte and Chris from @normadaviesopticians are up first in this year’s Practice of the Year competition, sharing their journey with OSA and all they’ve accomplished with the community.

Always inspiring to hear real stories from practice owners who’ve put in the work and seen the results. A brilliant start to the showcase.

🔹Structured silhouette for definition and balance

🔹Bold lines to add character and frame the eyes

🔹Dual colour palette to add a subtle

🔹Rich, deep colours to add depth and contrast

We think Holly looks incredible in this frame - it complements her perfectly and we’re completely in love with this look!

An absolutely beautiful day of painting for Norma Davies again today. They keep having me back and I just love painting for them.

What’s a window painting without a few animals too
