Snapshots from Amplitude

〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️

Amplitude is an exploration of Limestone Collective’s entangled and individual approaches and processes, as well as the connection and friction that can occur while working as a collective.

In preparation for this show, each artist has had the opportunity to unfold more about their practice and their connections, both encouraging and in opposition, to other members of the collective. Amplitude’s approach to collectivity has helped put into perspective what movement and change Limestone collective can achieve, both individually and as a group, within larger contexts.

Amplitude is an exploration of Limestone Collective’s entangled and individual approaches and processes, as well as the connection and friction that can occur while working as a collective.

The exhibition at Krabbesholm is very close to Limestone’s collective practice, as the Danish ‘højskole’ model has been part of fostering many institutions based on community. For many established artists the ‘højskole’ has been one of the first places where they have been able to explore their practice in a creative community. With its focus on process and the building of relationships that stretch and challenge Limestone’s nine members, Amplitude attempts to show the way Limestone has formed to continue the entanglement of varied perspectives and curiosities in order to grow.

Please come and join us at the opening:

Limestone consists of
Rosita Kær
Maria Storm-Gran
Therese Bülow
Luna Scales
Marie Hartmann
